The Ollech & Wajs 8001 Tundra is a modern evolution of the iconic OW 8001 integrated bracelet sports chronometer, blending the model’s signature brutalist design language with the natural inspiration of the Nordic landscape. Created through a collaboration between Ollech & Wajs and Norwegian architectural design collective MIR, the limited-edition Tundra reflects the rugged beauty and minimalist character of the environment that inspired its name.
Handmade in the Swiss Jura, the 39.5mm tonneau-style 316L stainless steel case features a fixed steel bezel with laser-etched minute markers, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and 300 meters (30 ATM) of water resistance. The double-lacquered “Tundra Green fumé” dial is complemented by baton hands and hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova®, along with a discreet date display at 6 o’clock.
Powering the OW 8001 Tundra is the COSC-certified bespoke Swiss-made Soprod Newton Precision P092 automatic movement, independently tested for durability and awarded Chronofiable® certification. Fitted on a Havana leather strap for comfort, stability, and long-term durability, the limited 56-piece OW 8001 Tundra is a distinctive expression of Swiss watchmaking, architectural design, and modern tool-watch heritage.
