We are pleased to present this unpolished 40mm stainless steel Rolex Sea-Dweller, reference 16600, showcasing excellent vintage character. The dial is exceptional, with indices that have developed an even, deep, creamy patina—an attribute that is truly hard to come by—perfectly complemented by the original handset, which has aged to a matching tone. The X-serial case dates production to approximately 1991. The bezel and insert remain in good condition, showing only light surface wear consistent with age. The watch is fitted with a Rolex 93160 Oyster bracelet featuring 12 links and a dive extension. The bracelet carries an S3 clasp code, dating it to March 1994, and shows only very minimal stretch. This unpolished timepiece is in nice overall condition, with the exception of superficial scratches throughout the case and bracelet and minor dings on the sides of the case. There is minor cracking on the internal portion of the lume pip. The watch crystal also shows slight abrasions along the rim, along with very light surface scratches. It remains a strong, well-preserved Sea-Dweller with desirable aging and character.
