We're thrilled to offer this stunning vintage Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513, an iconic tool watch that captures the essence of early 1980s Rolex design. Produced in late 1982, this piece features a 40mm stainless steel case, matte black Maxi Mk IV dial, and a matching black bezel—a coveted configuration among serious collectors. The butter-yellow patina on the lume plots gives the dial a rich, warm character that only time can create.

Protecting the dial is a TrueDome plexiglass crystal, enhancing its vintage charm. There is an imperfection in the crystal at approximately 1 o’clock, which we have highlighted in a red circle in the photos. Inside ticks the reliable automatic movement, true to the Submariner’s professional dive heritage. The watch is paired with its original 93150 Oyster bracelet featuring 580 end links and an H date code (1983)—a perfect match for the case’s serial range (758****). The bracelet shows signs of honest wear but, shows minimal stretch. 

This example shows honest wear consistent with age, but remains in excellent overall condition, with sharp case lines, well-preserved chamfers, and a bracelet that displays minimal stretch and a crisp Rolex coronet.
