This Rolex GMT-Master 1675 “Pepsi” represents the essence of vintage Rolex collecting — honest aging, timeless design, and unmistakable wrist presence. Originally developed for Pan Am pilots to track multiple time zones simultaneously, the GMT-Master remains one of Rolex’s most recognizable and collectible sport models. This example features the classic 40mm stainless steel case, a dedicated GMT hand with the distinctive red triangle tip, and the iconic red and blue bidirectional aluminum bezel insert that has become synonymous with the GMT-Master lineage. Complementing the bezel perfectly are the warm tritium lume plots and matching handset, both of which have aged to a rich creamy patina that contrasts beautifully against the matte black dial. The watch retains its original acrylic crystal with cyclops date magnification and is powered by the reliable Rolex Calibre 1575 automatic movement, featuring approximately 48 hours of power reserve. This example carries a 5.5 million serial number, dating production to approximately 1978. It is fitted with a newer Rolex 78360 Oyster bracelet with 10 links and 580 end links, while also accompanied by its original 1977-dated clasp coded “B.” Overall, the case remains in very nice unpolished condition, showing only light superficial wear throughout, consistent with careful ownership and normal use over the decades. The case also retains strong proportions, and the overall presentation is exceptionally attractive both on the wrist and in collection. The bracelet has superficial scratching throughout with minor dings and pitting. As pictured, this outstanding example is accompanied by its authentic Rolex outer box, authentic Rolex inner box, vintage GMT-Master booklet, original Rolex vinyl card holder, original 1978–1979 calendar card, original serialized Rolex hang tag, Certified Swiss Chronometer hang tag, and its original Rolex Guarantee papers with open date — an increasingly difficult configuration to find accompanying a vintage GMT-Master 1675 today.
