We are pleased to offer this exceptional Rolex GMT-Master II “Pepsi,” reference 16710, featuring an unpolished 40mm case and a K-serial production dating to 2001. Regarded by many collectors as the ideal modern-vintage GMT-Master, the 16710 combines the classic proportions of the early GMT models with the practicality of an independently adjustable GMT hand and slimmer case profile absent from its ceramic successors. This example remains fitted with its original Rolex Oyster bracelet with 12 links, a matching DE6 clasp code, corresponding to June 2001 production, and moderate stretch. The original gloss dial and matching handset are preserved in excellent condition, featuring Super-Luminova hour markers that offer the clean appearance and everyday usability collectors appreciate in late-production 16710s. Complementing the watch is a vibrant red and blue anodized aluminum “Pepsi” Rolex bezel insert, which remains in beautiful overall condition. The red portion of the bezel has aged ever so slightly to an attractive light fuchsia tone, perfectly capturing the character and iconic aesthetic that made the GMT-Master famous. The timepiece is unpolished and remains in good honest condition. There is superficial scratching throughout the case and bracelet, and light scratching, dinging, and rash on the sides of the case.   Accompanying the watch is its original Rolex warranty papers dated December 2001, further enhancing the collectability of this sharp and honest example of the beloved GMT-Master II “Pepsi.”
