This reference represents one of the most beloved vintage Submariners among collectors. The case appears to have been previously polished, yet it retains a nice profile with thick lugs and crisp factory bevels still visible. The winding crown shows wear consistent with honest use and the age of the watch. The Mk II “feet first” matte black tritium dial is especially attractive, with its matching tritium hands that have developed to a stunning buttery-yellow patina that collectors highly prize. The dial remains in good condition for its age. The watch is fitted to a Rolex 93150 Oyster Bracelet with correct 580 end links and a J5 date code, corresponding to May 1985 production.
